FOR 5/6 WEIGHT FLYLINES

These nymphing leaders are 7 1/2 ft overall.  The first 2 ft is constructed of yellow 2 lb Stren with the remaining 5 1/2 ft constructed of clear .005" clear 2 lb Trilene XL. You just add some tippet, weight, tippet, and fly.  These could well be the best high-sticking nymphing leaders ever.  The yellow indicator section is treated with your favorite fly floatant.  With polarized glasses, many times you will see the portion of the leader just under the surface pause, twitch, or move before the portion on the surface ever pauses.  This results in faster detection of strikes than is possible with old-fashioned bobber-style indicators which indicate nothing, until the surface portion pauses.
